Getting Here
By Car
Take New York Thruway (also known as 87 and the Major Deegan Expressway) to Exit 19, Kingston. Follow Route 28 West towards Pine Hill for approximately 25 miles. We’re located a half-mile past the town of Phoenicia exit (the second one with the stone eagle statue) on the left side of Route 28, immediately after the southwest corner of Woodland Valley Road.
By Bus
Trailways A three hour trip from Port Authority, ask the driver if they can drop you off right in front of the Phoenicia Lodge (Formerly the Phoenicia Village Motel & Cottages), which they sometimes will if it’s on their way. If they cannot, we are a mile’s walk from the actual bus stop on Main Street in Phoenicia. Unfortunately, there aren’t any taxis in Phoenicia, and we are not permitted to come pick you up (insurance reasons) so if you take the bus, you should be prepared for the walk.
By Public Transit
The Ulster County Area Transit bus runs weekdays and Saturdays up and down the Route 28 corridor, including Belleayre Mountain, Woodstock and Kingston.
